Call to Artists: Beauty in Islamic Art
The Islamic world is renowned for its diverse cultural and artistic traditions. In Islamic culture, Muslims believe that “God is Beautiful and Loves Beauty”. Coalition of Muslim Women of KW is thrilled to continue its partnership with THEMUSEUM for the fourth Annual Islamic Art Exhibition. We are now inviting artists to submit their artwork based on their perception of beauty in Islamic Art. This exhibition will take place this fall. October is proclaimed as Islamic History Month by Canadian Parliament, and declared as the Islamic Heritage Month by the Parliament of Ontario. This exhibition is supported by a generous grant from Ontario Arts Council to AtiZar artisan.
Submission Deadline: July 31st, 2020
